Our volunteer coaches will work with players on improving their flag football skills, including passing, receiving, and flag pulling. Players will learn the fundamentals of flag in a supportive and fun environment.

Teamwork and Sportsmanship

Beyond individual skills, this program emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and good sportsmanship.

No Experience Needed

Whether your athlete is a seasoned football player or new to the game, this league is open to all skill levels. Everyone is welcome to join and improve their abilities!

The Future is Flag!

At SVFL, we are proud to be a pioneer in the growth of girls football in Connecticut. More than 12 years ago, we launched the state’s first all-girls football program through our Powderpuff League, creating opportunities for young female athletes to learn the game, build confidence, and compete in a supportive environment.

As the sport continues to grow, SVFL remains committed to providing girls with opportunities to develop their skills, compete at a high level, build lasting friendships, and most importantly, have fun playing the game they love.
